Mother Nature doesn't use synthetic chemicals. Neither does Earth Animal. Their philosophy is simple and 40 years strong with the belief that dogs and cats should never be the carriers of synthetic chemical insecticides or pesticides, ever. As seasons change, so does the need for flea & tick protection.
Formulated by Dr. Bob Goldstein, the Nature's Protection™ Flea & Tick Herbal Topical Powder is infused with a natural blend of aromatic herbs and essential oils combined with the potent effects of limestone. This powder is an effective and powerful alternative to synthetic chemicals, synthetic pesticides, and synthetic insecticides. And, also provides fast-acting natural relief to flea, tick, and mosquito bites and infestations.
Active Ingredients: Peppermint Oil 0.55%, Virginia Cedarwood Oil 0.55%. Inert Ingredients: Silica, Isopropyl Myristate, Limestone.
Directions for Safe and Effective Use:
To open, puncture holes on cap with a pointed object such as a pen. Close container completely when not in use.
Using on your Pet: Using a comb or brush, gently work powder into the coat and skin from head to tail along the spine. Rub the powder into belly, legs, and tail area. Carefully dust the ears. Keep powder away from eyes and nose.
How much should I use? 2 tablespoons per 20 lbs of animal's weight. Re-apply after bath or when parasites come back. Only use one time per week.
How to Apply to Carpets & Floors: Vacuum the carpet thoroughly. Sprinkle a light coating over area using a broom or carpet rake. Work into the carpet until all the powder is gone. Leave powder on carpet for 3 days then do a light vacuuming to pull out dead fleas. It is important that powder remains in place and settles so eggs and fleas coming out of cocoons will be eliminated as well. If necessary, repeat 3 weeks after the date of first application.
How to Apply to Furniture, Flooring, Baseboards, & Bedding: Sprinkle a light coating, working into all cracks and crevices. Vacuum or sweep away excess visible powder. Be sure to apply under rugs where the eggs and larvae can accumulate. How Much and How Often to Use: 2 tablespoons per 10 square feet of area. Re-apply, depending on the severity of your flea infestation. One bottle treats approximately 250 square feet. If there is still flea activity after 2-3 weeks, re-apply 3 weeks from date of original application. If you have a moderate to severe infestation, re-apply in areas your pet frequents every 3- weeks as adult fleas and pupae in cocoons can remain dormant for extended periods of time.
How to Apply to Yard & Garden: Sprinkle in areas where your pets spends most of their time.
How Much and How Often to Use:
Approximately one bottle per 250 square feet. In areas near the home, work into cracks and crevices.
Re-apply every 2-3 weeks if flea infestation is severe, or if you live in an area with a long flea season.
